2 Exhibits at Linda Hall Library

Linda Hall Library is one of my favorite places in the Kansas City.  They have 2 current exhibits  at the moment.

I was excited for the Follow the Recipe exhibit.
It's a very small exhibit in one room.

It was a very small display.
I was really hoping it would be bigger.

On to the main exhibit.

This  exhibit was about UFOs, Other planets and life.

Book from 1750 Theory or New Hypothesis of the Universe.

Not in English - 1744

Also not in English - 1686.

They have been questioning the universe for a long time.

Project Blue Book - Investigations by U. S. Air Force into UFO sighting
Began in 1947 and went on for 22 years.

I really liked this - A display of what a 1947 investigation desk might look like.
I loved the old phone and the desk even had an ashtray.

You could leave comments here.
I read them.
Nearly all people believed and quite a few had interacted with aliens.

This was the coolest thing.
You were directed downstairs to the research lab.

They had displays of things things that live in the dark.

View from across research lab.

It was a cold rainy day in Kansas City.  I needed to do something inside but this has been on my list for weeks.

Until tomorrow.
