I wanted to do something different today. I had driven by a sweet little shopping spot and wanted to go back. I think it's at 48th (or 49th) and Stateline Road.
I loved it!!
This is all I came home with. It's all delicious.
There's also a Gelato Shop and Home Store.
It's so cute.
So I was driving back to the first shopping area and I passed other things so I stopped. I was at 47th and State Line Road. This was Midwest Transplant Network.
This building still had a heart from the Parade of Hearts
A Garden for Heros (Donors)
The Tree of Life
Relating With Love
I was walking back to the car and all the different roof levels just looked neat.
It's a nice park. 9 acres.
It has a baseball area, playground, and trails. I walked the entire thing.
There was even a big chair for pictures.
Across the street there were modern houses
Next to the older houses
This one totally had my attention. Most homes don't have dinosaurs.
I finally made it back to 45th and State Line Road to the second area. This area has lots of antique stores. I did find out that most of the antique stores are owned by one person.
This rocking chair was in Modern Love.
Parrin & Co
I did not catch the name of this one. Just looked at all of the stuff outside.
Inside
This one is across the street.
This is the basement. This place is so packed there is no walking room.
Everything is way over priced.
After my 2 hour outing I came home to a smiling dog and an empty treat bag. I couldn't even get after him. He was so happy. I asked him what happened and he was smiling saying "Can't you see?". It was a great day and I was able to see lots and walk lots. Tomorrow's forecast is for rain. I will just be doing the crafty update and staying home.
