Does anyone else remember jello and whipped cream pie? I do and I loved it. So I had to try to make it. Ok I somehow messed this up. It's has 3 ingredients and I did something wrong?!?!
This picture shows 2 things I did wrong.
1. I bought a generic graham cracker crust. Yuck!
2. I poured the jello into the boiling water then started the whipped cream.
I should have immediately stirred the jello to dissolve it.
I made the whipped cream.
Stir in the yogurt and whip cream.
Chill
My pie did not firm up like I was expecting. I know I should have stirred the jello right away. The only other thing that I can think so was I my peaks weren't stiff or I should have added more whipped cream. Maybe I should just use Cool Whip next time. I will be making this again. I loved it as a kid. I doubt yogurt was added in the 70s but I can't prove it.
It's not as pretty as it should be but I will be eating it anyway. Also counting as a bake.
