I did this on Monday before the storm. Today the temperature is 0 and the wind chill is -13. I have had so much fun exploring Rosedale.
Monday was a very cold day so on the way home I stopped by Sway Coffee Roasters. I have passed this place for a year and never stopped.
They roast coffee here. You open the door to come in and are immediately hit with a strong smell of coffee. I don't drink coffee but I forgave them and continued inside.
I'm pleasantly surprise they have a small selection of McLain's pastries.
Muffins, cinnamon rolls and cookies.
They also have savory selections.
I got a hot chocolate with a flower on it.
I sat at the counter and watched them roasting coffee.
My hot chocolate was terrific.
They had divided the sitting area up into areas.
Tables, comfy chairs areas and counter.
People were working, a man was there with an infant and toddler, other people on their phones.
Very relaxing atmosphere.
I left and walked next door to a little strip mall.
Sometimes when I drive by some of the stores have things outside.
This big hand was holding a sign.
But really its a peace sign.
I believe this stuff is part of a consignment shop.
He's neat.
A free little art gallery.
I have never seen one of these.
You can take or drop off items.
I took a lucky star.
I will take something up later.
This was the best stop. I have a problem eating/drinking by myself but I felt totally comfortable today. I'm also happy I can get McLains close to home.
Until tomorrow.
