I started out with a list of places today. It didn't take me long to realize it was cold. Please understand - very, very cold. I abandoned my plan. I turned around and started driving home looking for something to do. I found Mother Earth Coffee.
I ordered a hot chocolate and muffin. $10
No flower.
It was a nice atmosphere.
They sold their coffee
They had a big seating area. I sat at the counter.
Here's my review. Before I went in I checked the menu online. The prices were almost doubled than the menu they had posted. I didn't like that at all. The muffin tasted like it had been frozen and thawed. I wasn't a big fan. The hot chocolate was okay. It had a thick foam on it that was icky. Overall, it was ok but I won't go back. I read some of their reviews while I was there. Most people love them.
Beautiful historic building.
Reviews said police at there at least once a week and someone gets killed every year.
This historic building across the street is $2,300 a month for 2 bedrooms.
Clyde Manor
Beautiful historic building that has been updated.
$800 for studio 379 sq ft - $1200 for 2 bed 573 sq ft
Apartments above Mother Earth Coffee
$1475 for 1 bed 942 sq ft - $1915 for 2 bed/ 2 bath 1355 sq ft
Geez - these apartments are expensive. This is the Hyde Park area. I home and warm now.
Until tomorrow.
