Sunday afternoon I made the bake of the week. Buttermilk Pecan Cake.
I made this once in Wichita.
It's easy and so good.
I forgot to take pictures of the mixing.
This is the cake in the oven.
While the cake is baking you make the topping.
It's butter, brown sugar, and nuts.
You put the topping on and bake 10 minutes longer.
It's so pretty.
And tastes so good.
It's snowing and cold here. I'm staying inside except for Charlie's 5 walks a day. I think the totals are between 2"-3".
