Epperson House

Today I decided to stay home and use one of my saved posts.  The wind chills are below 20 degrees.  I did get out today.  I needed to run to the store before the snow tonight.

When I went to the Museum of Toys and Miniatures recently I noticed something I do not remember seeing the first time.  Epperson House is right next door.  

January 17th - I reported about the house becoming a hotel and other things.

Of course I went exploring.

There were cars parked close to the house so I was sure it was ok to look around.

At least there were no signs stating do not explore.

I love this house.

That door says Keep Out.

I'm not sure what this is called but I need one.

The driveway is really rough and uneven.

No, I did not go up the staircase.

I was trying to take a picture of the open gate but it's too far away.

This path leads to the street and this gate is also open.

It has a lot of damage.

Close up you can see all of the work that is needed to restore this beauty.  I can't believe it has just been sitting empty for years.  I really love this house.  I hope the hotel is affordable so I can stay here one night.

Snow is forecasted for tomorrow at the moment 3"- 6".  Yesterday I saw 4" - 10".  I don't want another 10" of snow.  There is still snow around from before.
