Linda Hall Library New Acquisitions

No clouds today it's just plain hot.  We went to the Linda Hall Library.  They have a new exhibit, New Acquisitions.

I just love this place.

In the courtyard

Astronomy Book 1854

Mathematics Book, 1779

Custom Binding, 1767

Tiny Book, about 2" x 1 1/2"
The Autobiography of Robert Hutchings Goddard, 1966
I wish I could have seen the size of the print in this one.

1784

Fifty Philippine Birds, 1936

I'm not sure if I understood this one.
By Pomponius Mela, first Roman Geographers
1477

Botany manuscript by Miss H. E. Howard, 1839
She wrote and illustrated the book.

Okay, this was not an exciting adventure.  They had a new exhibit and I wanted to go plus it's nice and chilly in this building.  I promise the rest of the week will be better.

I will be working on the fireplace for the rest of the afternoon.  Ready to finish this fireplace.

Until tomorrow.
