Everything started out great today. I left a little later than I wanted but I had my list so off I went.
The first stop was the Armour Green Fountain
It's beautiful.
Next, I found a neighborhood pocket park

Across the street is the Arbor Villa Park.
Small park but wonderful.
Pickleball court and a playground
A little hidden from where I stood was an old swimming pool.
Abandoned.
This is where I lost my way. I had passed a Price Chopper on the way to the fountain. I thought I would go back to get some root beer which is on sale this week. You have to buy 3 for the sale price and they only had 1. Somehow I ended up on the ice cream aisle. I don't know how it happened. Guess what I found.

I have been looking for pistachio almond since I got to Kansas City.
And now I'm off in a total different direction. I took the ice cream home. I went to the Price Chopper I usually go to and they had root beer. I checked they also have this flavor of ice cream now too.
So now I'm shopping. I don't know how this happens.
I still have a list ready to go for some day soon. We are going to a Passport to Adventure museum tomorrow.
