Money Money Money

Today I explored the money museum.

It's guarded by the Spirit of Industry and the Spirit of  Commerce.

Currently the exhibition is money origami.  One artist made of these.  They even have a short video to teach you how to make one.  I didn't try it.

These are so cool.

The Truman Coin Collection shows the what coin money was used under each president.  Most of the exhibits were interactive and geared toward kids.  So yes I fit right in.

There was a display of counterfeit money that was really interesting.

You can try to lift a gold bar.

In the most interesting part you could not take pictures.  You can watch the cash processing.  Rooms and rooms of people with stacks of cash.  They feed the money through a machine that determines if it's ok or it gets shredded.  I just stood there watching all of this money.  Amazing.

When you leave you get a bag of shredded money.  It was a lot of fun.  It was wet and cold so it was perfect place to explore.
