Deaf Cultural Festival at Nelson-Atkins

First I have to tell you 15lb got everyone sick - again.  That sweet little babe.  2 of his 3 people are feeling  better which includes me.    I had a late start so at around noon I arrived at the museum.  The events weren't scheduled from 12-1 so my timing was off.  I went off and wandered around for awhile.

In 1978, Christo and Jeanne-Claude wrapped the sidewalks of Loose Park in nylon fabric.  That would have been a site to enjoy.

I would have loved to have seen this.

This is Dr. Benoist Troost.
He has a main street named after him here.
He owned slaves and the city is renaming the street.

Little Red Riding Hood (Miss Eulalie Hockaday)

George Caleb Bingham
Self Portrait

Bingham painted all 3 of the portraits.

This bookcase caught my attention too.
How very beautiful.
Designed by Gustave Herter.

That's it for the day.  My nose is still somewhat runny and I came home.  I have been working of the puzzle for next week and watching Vera on Prime.

Until tomorrow.
