The March Festival
This is the lapel pin for the festival.
We watched the dancing before and after we ate.
These 2 dancers were Princesses.
While everyone else watched I sat down for a while.
We bought 3 different meals and shared so we can try different things.
The top left is a fry bread - kind of like a pizza. Very good.
Top right - Bison. Everyone liked this one. I was glad I tried it but not a fan.
Middle - Sweet Potato with a rice. I thought this was wonderful but not everyone loved it.
The bottom 2 are the desserts.
Next time I will take a picture of the names of the dishes.
I tried one of their root beers.
Not doing that again.
I'm a Barq's Lover.
I like the Native American Cultural Festival. There were not as many people as were at the Lunar New Year Festival. I really enjoy my membership to the Nelson-Atkins. I believe it is one of the best purchases I have made since moving here.
