I was taken to lunch for restaurant week. We went to Oil on Linen at the Kemper Museum.

- Soup of the Day -
- House Salad -
Greens, radish, red onions, grains, galore croutons, cottonwood river cheddar, & herbed sherry vinaigrette.

Course 1 - I forgot to take a picture. I selected the soup for the day - Chicken Noodle Soup. It was amazing. I will forever compare chicken noodle soup to this soup.
Course 2
- Chicken Bowl -
Jeweled rice, sultanas, pine nuts, charred cabbage, grilled chicken & red onion skewer, castelvetrano olive gremolata.

- Chocolate Cake -
Shiitake mushroom ice cream & pecans.

- Apple Crostada -

I selected the chocolate cake of course. I made the wrong decision. The cake was good. It reminded me of a flourless cake, no frosting. The shiitake mushroom ice cream was not my favorite. If you ate the ice cream with the cake it was better.
The apple crostada was looked great. I tried the maple ice cream and it rocked.
That was my lunch and it was wonderful. This was my first time going to a restaurant during restaurant week. Last year the week was during the negative temps and my battery was dead.
