This morning before the storm hits just a short visit to the Nelson-Atkins. This weekend is member appreciation weekend and the last weekend for the Hokusai Exhibit.
You would not believe how long the line was to get into the exhibit when I got out. I think it went from the exhibit to the parking garage. I would not have stood in that long line. There were so many people in the exhibit it too was crowded. I'm glad I gone before.

While I was there I stopped by the John Smart Miniature Exhibit.
Look how small the pictures are.
Silver dollar or smaller.
Bigger an a silver dollar.
Maybe 2x2
These are about a quarter
Smaller than a dime.
These tiny pictures would be so hard to paint.
This was the car parked beside me.
I came home after noon but it was already misting. The streets were not slick at all yet. I'm hoping for lots of snow! I will keep you updated.
