Charlie and I were watching tv on New Year's Eve. Really that is it! I realized my tooth had broke. I didn't do anything. I didn't even eat much.
Luckily it did not hurt. I had to wait for the holiday on the first. Now of course I have not set up a new dentist yet. Every other kind of doctor - yes but dentist - no. So first thing on Thursday armed with dentist names from the insurance I started calling. The first one I called could get me in yesterday. I couldn't believe it.
The office was in one of the St. Luke Hospital buildings.
The dentist looked at the tooth and said I needed a crown. I knew that would be the case. She did the prep right then and put in the temp crown. 1 hour 30 minutes.
Now let's look at today's adventure. We are going to bake oatmeal cookies.
It's all good.

Epic fail!
I'm not sure what happened. All I can come up with is I didn't put enough oats in. I will remake the cookies later. I just couldn't do it today.
This weekend Kansas City might get up to 12" of snow. I went to the store today. Charlie and I are ready to be snowed in. They are forecasting blizzard conditions on Sunday. I have never been in a blizzard so I'm excited. The city salted my street which is on a hill today. That never happened last year. One of the weather people said only 3" expected yesterday so I switched to another channel and they were saying 9-12". Today the weird lady is saying that too.
I'm getting out tomorrow before storm starts but I should be home by noon. I will keep everyone updated. You know I'll take pictures.
