Handle the Heat - Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

This week we are making the chocolate crinkle cookies. Today is Tuesday and we are making the dough today. We are following the recipe exactly.
I was ready with my apron.
I had everything laid out.

Sealed. The dough will refrigerate over night.
I think I like making cookies this way. The dough is made and chilling, the dishwasher is going, all ingredients are put away. I tend to get tired of baking cookies and start making the cookies bigger and bigger. Tomorrow we bake!
It's Wednesday and we are baking!
I started out so motived.
I first discovered - don't put so much powder sugar on.
Second, I learned I wasn't baking them long enough.
Then I figured out why!
The recipe called for a 1 inch cookie scoop and I was using 1 1/2 inch scoop.
I figured out my new time and baked the cookies.
They are wonderful.
I doubled this recipe because it said it made 16 cookies. So now I have about 50 cookies. I should not have doubled the recipe.
It was also was my first time using a cookie scoop. I will be buying different scoops before we bake next week. Usually I just use spoons but we are trying follow the recipe exactly.
The cookies are great. I wish I could share!
