Today I'm logging just random things from this week.
A new mural in the Crossroads.
It's so halloweenie!
Just look at the detail
I just love old buildings. They have so much character and beauty.
The Dwight Building is across from the library
It was built in 1908 as a 7 story building.
The first steel framed building in Kansas City.
In 1927 Mr. Dwight added the top 3 floors.
In 2002 the building needed major repairs.
Now its apartments, 2 bed, 2 bath $1350
Parking is extra.
Burnap Building
Built in 1908.
It housed one of the largest stationary and office supply companies
Now this building is part of the apartments next door
Even though I'm at the shopping center often I have never stopped and taken a picture of the wagon.
Dedicated to the memory of the pioneers who settled the town of Westport
1833-1857
Come Back Stump with 2 owls
Now we are caught up. Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) begins tonight. I will be attending services tomorrow. I don't know how much I will be able to explore tomorrow.
Until our next adventure.
