What a day! Mr. Handyman came by to measure the door frame. It will go from 24" to 30". I have not received the estimate yet. Time 10 minutes. ( 5 minutes for me talking to his son.)
Then to Lowe's. I want engineered hardwood so they needed to change the contract from vinyl. They added and subtracted the miscellaneous stuff and it was time for me to pay. During this time someone else bought enough inventory that there was not enough for my order. Arghhh!!
They assured me they will find enough. Time 2 hours.
This is the one I have picked out.
I'm done for the day.
