Garment District Grooves and a walk about

Today was the first Garment District Grooves Concert.  It was cloudy and  cool and just wonderful.

Lunch from Sugar Skulls

Really good food truck

There was another heart here.

There was a warm-up band from a local school.

It was easy from the iphone but the pixel laughs at me.

The main show

I've been trying to show a fountain each day.  Today you get non-working yet fountains.

8th Street Garment District Fountain

The Poindexter Fountain

I walked around for awhile.  This building is at 8th and Broadway.  It is being refurnished.  It's so beautiful.

I kept walking for awhile until a bird tried to attack me.  It kept dive bombing me.  I decided it was time to go home.

Old fur sign

This isn't real

The Westport wagon is being replaced.  The one that has been on display is going to the museum.  It had parts on it from the late 1800s.  The new one was built in the 1970s.

No I didn't know all this.  It was on the news.

That's it for the day.  The lunch concert was fun.  It's put on by Parks and Rec.  Hopefully by the June Concert the fountains will be on.

Until tomorrow.
