I went to the last area of Penn Valley Park today. This park is 176 acres. To me it's divided into three or four parts.
The Firefighters Memorial Fountain,
We also saw this on fountain day.
Firefighter Memorial
Beyond the skate park and tennis courts is Scout.
Some of the most beautiful views are this point.
Scout from another angle.
Penn Valley Lake
Sweet little bridge at one end of the lake.
Little creek under the bridge.
This picture is not giving this view justice.
It is just beautiful.
You can fish here.

Just Off Broadway Theatre is also on the edge of the park.
The first day I walked around the north side of Liberty Memorial, WW1 Museum.
The second day I walked around the south side of Liberty Memorial, WW1 Museum.
Today I was on the west side. There are cliffs that divide the park. North of the theatre is an off lease dog park and playground.
Here is my review - I love the section of park around Liberty Memorial. Lots of people, safe, lots of parking. Today, I was safe and this other section is just beautiful. Here's the part I didn't like today: there were at least 10 cars just parked with 1 male in it. That shouldn't have bothered me but it did.
Overall, beautiful park.
I forgot to post yesterday. Really - I lost track of time. I went to the grocery store then started organizing my craft stuff. In between rain showers Charlie wanted a walk.
I have not painted this week. I think I needed a break. I'm going to start on the bedroom and rearrange as I go. No, I have not finished the living room. It's just how I do things.
Not sure what to do tomorrow. Rain and storms are forecasted. The weather will decide for us.
Until tomorrow.
