What a weird day! First, my plans changed yesterday for today. The schedule was changed. I made new plans to visit 2 parks today. I knew it was fountain day but I had found a site saying there would be a ceremony on Friday. Chris and I texted back and forth this morning about this and I decided I was wrong. So no problem, plans change.
Next the weather, when Charlie woke me up it was a heavy mist. Within an hour it was pouring rain then the sun came out with blue skies. I get ready to go to the ceremony. When I walked to the car the skies are gray. I get to the fountain and parking was available so I know something is off. I saw the parks guys and they told me the ceremony had been cancelled. And that moment it started to rain.
I found my first Parade of Hearts heart.
I've been so excited for this.

They were other people there. They stayed in their cars. It was raining so hard and I was soaked. I called it a day. On the way home the sun and blue skies appeared again. I will have to go back when it's not raining.
This has to be my shortest adventure.
This morning I started getting ready to paint.
I'm trying to purge "stuff" and I will also be parting with some furniture. It's funny I have gotten rid of so much before stuff before I moved. Since getting here I have continued to sort through stuff and have gotten rid of more. Hopefully this painting and furniture change will be it. I can't wait to start and most of all replace the carpet.
