I started earlier today to beat the heat. In the end it caught me. This is a really big campus. I guess I'm comparing it to WSU and Friends. Just looked it up - 150 acres. So that's why I got tired. Please remember I didn't make the map - UMKC did. I would not have included parking and resident halls.
Stop #15 Cherry Street Parking Garage
Stop #16 UMKC Police Department
Stop #17 Herman and Dorothy Johnson Residence Hall
Stop #18 Oak Street Residence Hall
Stop #19 Administrative Center
There's the hubcap guitar again.
Stop #20 Student Union

Stop # 23 Bloch Heritage Hall (Management)
Stop #22 Henry and Marion Bloch
Stop #24 School of Law
Stop #25 Linda Hall Library
Linda Hall Library is not officially connected with UMKC. Students do use it.
There is an exhibition I want to see there.
Stop #26 School of Education
Stop #27 Grant Hall
Stop # 28 Rockhill Parking Garage
Stop #29 Cockefair Hall
Stop #30 Haag Hall
I stopped here. I wanted to see the murals, Don Quixote Frescoes by Luis Quintanilla
and campus murals by Austrian painter Joseph Fleck
The murals were beautiful. This is one of the reasons I wanted to explore the campus. And this is where we stop for today. It was now hot. I'll finish tomorrow morning.
