Phone Working and a walk around the neighborhood

Sometimes days start out, turn frustrating, and then turn back around.

My new phone still was not working today so I decided to change that.  I have been patient but I'm not on the high side of the patience scale.  So I called the old carrier, then called the new carrier, then called the old carrier, and finally put the new pin into the new carrier and an hour or so later my phone is working.  I wish I had done this on Sunday.

I got a very late start because of the phone.  I decided to walk around my neighborhood - dogless.  I walked from Westport to State Line on Westport Road.

I have wanted to take a picture of the robot for a while.  You can't really tell but the center is the corner of the building.  44th and Belleview

Isn't the tower cool?

I made it to State Line Road.

This is my neighborhood

This is the first church.  From this side you can see the bell and a sculpture on the front.
This bell rings all of the time.

Side of a pizza place.

That's my walk.  Kansas City, Missouri is a big city of neighborhoods.  Kansas City, Kansas is a bunch of smaller towns.  Westport Road (43rd Street) is a dividing line.  Volker Neighborhood on the North side of the Westport Road, West Plaza on the South side of the Westport Road,  Westport  starts around Belleview where Westport and 43rd split.

It's the first time I explored on foot.  Westport Road is filled with businesses - several restaurants I would like to try.  It's a beautiful day in Kansas City - I have new working phone and it's almost 70 degrees.

I have the next 3 days planned.  Until tomorrow.
