I hadn't planned on having any adventures today. It's forecast to snow. It really was bothering me so much so I talked to my son about it. I woke up this morning and decided to go somewhere. Quickly before the snow started. So I started out at Gates Bar-B-Q
They have a Gates BBQ Tuxedo Man.
I have never ate at Gates and don't know the much about him. He showed up on one of the Kansas City attractions sites I reference. He's holding a bag of Gates BBQ. He is cute.
Our next stop has been on my list for a long time. Russell Stover.
I was so excited when I saw this. Chocolate is near and dear to me.
They are celebrating 100 years.
Spread Love Not Hate
When I first saw this building I thought I know where I'm going to work. But it's not a chocolate factory. I was very sad. This is the corporate office. When it warms up I plan to get a picture of Russell Stover's grave. I thinks that might be awhile.
Russell Stover's Offices are across the street from UMKC.
UMKC. It's on the list to explore when it's warmer.
Just down Oak Street is a hubcap guitar at an old gas station turned pizza place.
I just knew I had to get a picture of this.
