I started out Tuesday with an adventure plan and some needed errands. To my shock, my battery had died in the frigid temperatures. I was sad. No problem, call AAA.
Tuesday evening my kids stopped by the store and bought the boys 2 cans of dog food. (One of my errands was dog food.) Nothing from AAA.
Wednesday morning called again. Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. jump guy calls me. They are trying to clear their back log if I only need a jump he will be right here. I explain my battery is totally dead. He says I need a new battery, 2 calls ahead of me. About 9:00 p.m. battery guy calls. Verifies make and model and engine size. They are out of my battery. More batteries coming tomorrow call at 6 AM and make another service call.
Wednesday evening after 9:00 p.m. - Make plans with Chris to get ride to store to buy more dog food.
Thursday 6AM. Call for the third day. Explain all of the directions given by battery guy and place another service call.
Thursday 12 noon. I'm putting together a puzzle to pass the time while I wait for another battery guy to call me. I'm so so sad. I have been sitting for 1 week. I have found out I don't like sitting. Sitting by choice is different than being forced to sit.
But here I sit. I hope to have a running car soon.
