It was cold today but will be the warmest for the next 10 days. I just wanted to get out. I needed to clean 5 inches of snow off my car before the next snow storm on Friday. Usually I have a plan but today I just winged it.
I needed to go back and get a picture of the marker I missed.
When I go to the grocery store closest to me, you can see 2 green domes. So I decided to find out what they belong to. It's a church built in 1906 for $38,000. It's a catholic church, Our Lady of Good Counsel.
On the other corner of the block is a church from 1853. It started as a Methodist Church.
The Catholic has now bought it.
At one time school in Westport was held here.
This beautiful house is in between the 2 churches.
By now people were watching me walk around and take pictures. So I decided it was time to go.
Insomnia Cookies
I know it's really not a bakery but for I have never been here before. Insomnia Cookies had just opened the week before I left Wichita.
I'm happy with my purchase.
The roads are getting better and better. I should be able to have a planned adventure tomorrow.
