Dietician Appointment

 Today's adventure was totally at home.  I had a video appointment with a dietician at KU.  First my microphone would not work on the computer.  No problem I'll use my phone.  My microphone would not work with the phone either.  She just called me.

After talking for an hour she gave me 5 things to do before we meet again.

1) Decrease my rootbeer consumption to 3 cans a day.  I drink 4 sometimes 5 a day now.

2) Sign the form at the doctor's office for the gym referral.

3) Weigh at home once a week.  I told her I needed to buy batteries for my scale so really she made this item to buy batteries.

4) Find healthy snacks instead on candy bars.

5) Add non-starchy veggies to lunch

I should try to eat only 1 candy bar a week, in time (quickly) drop to 1 can of rootbeer a day, work out at the gym, and enjoy eating veggies for snacks.  

I said multiple times I did that before I retired.  

She ended with do you want to meet in a month or 6 weeks?  Mid-December is fine with me. Oh, okay 2 months it is.
