When I first moved here in late October 2023 I still had health insurance and refills. In January 2024, I have insurance from marketplace and needed refills. No problem, right? I called KU for an appointment and was told 9 months for the first available appointment. I went somewhere else. In June 2025, I called KU again. Only 4 months wait this time and I made an appointment.
I found the parking garage and building. I even found where to check in for the appointment.
The doctor was very nice. This was a get to know you visit.
I will be getting a referral to the KU gym.
She told me what to buy for all of my allergies.
I have an appointment for a physical.
They have public art.
I hope I have found my doctor. Everyone I know from Wichita who have moved here are at KU. That's only 6 people and 3 from DC. So far, I like it.
