On the weekend when 15lb isn't here I try to work on my quilt. I set up the sewing machine, iron, ironing board and cutting mat. I only work on it for an hour or 2 but I'm making progress.
I'm working with a jelly roll of Dr. Seuss Lorax characters.
Sadly, I don't even remember when I bought the jelly roll.
I stop when I start making mistakes.
I'm up to 22 blocks.
The pattern I'm looking at has a small square in each of the corners.
I haven't decided if I will put that in or not.
Years ago I gave a friend most of my fabric but I kept some and I have bought more. I'm really trying to use up the fabric so one day maybe I won't have fabric sitting around waiting on me. Unfortunately using a jelly roll does not make it look like I have used much fabric.
My goal is 3 quilts for the year. I have only completed one.
At least I'm still working on it.
