Saturday the kids and I went to Green Dirt on Oak. This place has been on my list because the NPR station highly recommended their cheesecake. Unfortunately it was not on the summer menu.
It was very cool.
They own a farm and make their own cheese.
They also have animals.
These decorated the area we sat in.
I thought they were drawn by kids but they thought it was an artist.
We shared a cheese board.
I forgot to take a picture before we started.
The cheese board was great. We had a soft cheese with honey, the cheese they make and age at the restaurant, and a hard cheese. They were all great. The candied nuts were also amazing.
I just love cheese boards.
