Museum of Toys and Miniatures

On Sunday I visited the Museum of Toys and Miniatures.  On the second Sunday of the month the museum is free.

The new exhibit is a collection of Star War toys from the 1970s and early 80s.

A collections of the figurines.

The playsets were once cardboard.

One not open.  Original price $2.25

They moved to the plastic models.

More models

More figurines from different movies.

In the late 1970s I was working at TG&Y.  First in the toys department and later as a stocker.  I remember putting many to these toys on the shelf.  It really makes me feel old things I remember are in a museum.

There were so many of these toys.  This is just a sample of the pictures.

Until tomorrow.
