My plans this week did not go as planned. We did make it to a few places but I was really scared taking the baby places this week. I think I tried to do too much on the first week. I'm trying a new approach. I got lots of adventures and pictures today. I will finish up tomorrow. I was just totally worn out.
Today I started off going to Emanuel Cleaver's protest for federal workers. It seemed all of the unions were invited. One thing I learned was that Kansas City has 34,000 federal employees. At least they did before the cuts started.
This was scheduled to start at 10.
I left at 10:30. They had just started.
I don't like waiting.
Emanuel Cleaver is the man in the suit.
He spent probably 15 minutes just taking pictures.
Did I say I don't like waiting?
Not many people showed up.
The weather was okay. It had not got hot yet but the walk was long and it warmed up quick. I parked on the south side of the museum near the Federal Reserve and the protest was on the north side. It was a walk!
