Today started out cloudy and with a chill in the air. I was planning on getting an adventure in but honestly I just was not feeling the chill. So instead I thought I would work on cleaning up started projects. I need to get everything cleaned up before Monday. I got out the glue gun.
I made this stupid ball from seeds I have been collecting at the WW1 museum.
It did not turn out the way I had envisioned.
I packed up April and put out May.
I fixed these flowers - 2 had fallen off.
Multiple fences had fallen off.
The seed wreath needed repairs.
Done.
May is ready.
Delight in the Little things
This cross stitch deserves a paragraph. While Kyle had chemo (immunotherapy) I started and worked on this cross stitch. It's one of those things that makes me tear up while smiling. Cancer and the treatment were horrible and sad but we also had good talks and lots of laughs. I had finished this week's cross stitch and while looking for something else to do and I saw this. I have not touched it since the last treatment. Now it's finished and framed. It will always hold many memories for me. I miss Kyle everyday.
So I have just been cleaning and moving things. I'm babyproofing slowly but I don't have that much room or stuff so it's not much work.
Until tomorrow.
