I'm not loving life in Kansas City. My car battery is dead again. I took the car back to the shop after paying $50.00 for a jump last week. I got the run around and they said I didn't drive enough. They would not replace the battery.
I did not call for the $50.00 jump today because it will be very cold again tonight. I truly am hating life in Kansas City today.
Yesterday I baked a store bought pumpkin pie.
I found it on sale at Walmart Marketplace for $1.40 after the holidays.
Can't beat that price.
I worked on a quilt today.
This t-shirt quilt is for a friend's daughter.
I was given everything in 2022, moved everything with me in 2023,
did not touch it in 2024 and want to finish it in 2025.
The daughter selected the layout before I left Wichita.
I have been worried I would lose those pictures.
As I looked at the picture I think one of the shirts is upside down. Arrggh!!
I worked on trimming the shirts into blocks today. I had already put the stabilizer on the back of the shirts but I had not started cutting. Most of the pieces are sewn together and I'm now trying to get the rows to the same lengths now. I'm hoping to get the top done this week. I will use fleece for the back which I also moved. Remember one of my goals for the year is to empty a craft tote. This took up a lot of room.
That's it for today. Charlie and I are trapped in Kansas City. Tomorrow I will spend the $50 to escape.
