We are doing taking part in a baking challenge for the second time this month. The Crinkle Cookies were liked by everyone so we are doing great this month so far, 1 - 0. For are second Cookie, Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies. I have always loved the toll house recipe and have used only that my adult baking life.
I got all of the ingredients laid out and measured.
The recipe said if possible chill the dough for 24 hours.
"This allows the dough to marinate and makes the cookies thicker, chewier, and more flavorful."
We need to try for that.
Actually I wish I had seen this so I could have tested this theory and made one chilled and one room temperature.
It's Friday and time to bake.
They really do taste great.
I scrapped the bowl yesterday.
I do think I need an oven thermometer.

I have entered 2 challenges now. It's only the middle of the month so maybe we will do another one. We'll see.
