I plan out where I will go on Saturday or Sunday every week. Sometimes I'm so excited I will start planning next week on Monday of this week. This morning I woke up and thought I don't want to do that. This has happened before I just scratch out one plan and write in another. Not today.
I brought out my maps (I have many, many maps) and nothing. Nothing looked fun. In fact at one point I was thinking I have seen everything to see in Kansas City. That's not true but it was a thought.
Just a couple of things today and then I might take tomorrow off. I might do 2 classes at the community center instead of one.
I have shown you this before.
William Volker's house.
It on the National Register of Historic Places.
Built in 1889, Mr. Volker lived there until 1947.
It has a name.
Norman Tromanhauser House
National Register of Historic Places
I took the picture from my car as you can see.
The Loretto
Built in 1904 as a boarding and day school for girls.
Today it's apartments and a venue.
Side note - The walnuts are falling and are everywhere.
The millions of squirrels are currently trying to bury all of them.
That's it for today. I'm going to work on getting rid of the bluhs. Friday the Brown Bag Concerts start again. Saturday I will be touring a cemetery. It's the start of our halloween spooky adventures.
Until our next adventure.
