Odds and Ends

It's pilates day so we are just catching up on some odds and ends.

Across the street from the 12th and Vine park is this beauty.

This fountain is erected in memory of William T. Fitzsimons, 1st Lieut Medical Corps U.S.A.
Killed in France September 7th, 1917
The first American officer to give his life in the Great World War for liberty.

The fountain is not working.

This is the what is on top.

Across the street is a canon.

Down the street
I didn't walk down there.  Remember it was really hot.

This is a waterfall in the Westin Hotel at Crown Center.
It was once Signboard Hill.  Joyce Hall, founder of Hallmark hated this hill.

The hotel lobby incorporated the existing hill
and used it for the waterfall.

I almost forgot.  The kids let me tag alone last night to see Trap.
I liked it.

That's all for today.  I went to pilates and then the grocery store by my house.  After coming home and putting up what I bought I went back and bought what I had forgotten.  It has been that kind of day.

Until tomorrow.
