I had another late start today. We had a thunderstorm and Charlie is afraid of thunder. I also needed to get new windshield wipers. I went to the Trailside Center in South Kansas City.
The Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails are all near here.
It's a small place but they have lots of stuff.

It was fun. Once again, the volunteer made the visit. He made suggestions on places to visit and loaded me up with brochures.
After the visit I stopped at a nearby public art.
He founded a branch of the Shriners.
Then I went to get new wipers. Done.
