That's it. I didn't find all of the public art but I did find most of it. I went to 4 parks, the community center, aquatics center and sports dome (and HyVee). For only having about 6,000 people this city has a lot to offer. Officially HyVee is in Mission, but Roeland Park has Price Chopper and Walmart. I enjoyed finding out more about this place besides how to drive straight to Price Chopper.
The cities in Kansas are crazy with their borders. Roeland Park Cityhall is blocks away from Shawnee Indian Mission which is in Fairway. The River Totems are one block from HyVee which is in Mission. I'm trying to understand.
This wasn't an exciting adventure. It was just something I wanted to do. I do love public art.
Tomorrow is the 4th of July. I'm going to a Royals game with the kids. It's in the evening so I won't be posting until Friday. I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th!
