Rain and an Art Gallery

It rained all morning and Charlie and I watched it.   It rained and rained.  Finally it stopped raining and the sun came out immediately.  I left for our adventure.

Do you remember the Roeland Park City Hall I stumbled upon last week?  I was looking for the names of the public art and finally found it.  Also, I found that on the second floor of the city hall building there was the George R. Schlegel: From Lithography to Gallery.  George Schlegel started the gallery in 1994 and he volunteered for 13 years. The Gallery is in 3 rooms.

They change exhibits every two months.
They are displaying art by teachers right now.

I stood in the middle of a 4 lane road to get this picture.

It was a very late start for today.  I still was able to find beauty.

Until tomorrow.
