Today I left really early and headed for Loose Park. Loose Park was one of my first adventures but it was already cold and the roses were not blooming. So off to the rose garden.
This place is so pretty
The garden is a big circle with this fountain in the middle.
So many pretty flowers
This is such a beautiful park.
I walked over to the pond and found turtles.
One of the fountains.
Walkway to get out of the pond
I also saw a chipmunk and ducks. I was trying to get a picture of the chipmunk but he can run much faster than I can.
I walked around the park for 45 minutes. I hurried off to pilates. Then I hurried home. Remember I planned to have a handyman give me a bid for building a wall to move the closet. He was expected between 11-12. It's almost 3 pm now. He and his secretary have not called, texted or used any other form of communication.
New plan - I'm going to buy cabinets from Ikea. I can do that for $1,000 or less.
With the new plan means I need to finish painting the front closet, move the bookcases on the sides of the fireplace and finish the fireplace. Then I can buy new carpet. I can't wait for the new carpet. Everything is on hold. I have almost been re-packing. For example, I'm not buying a new stacked washer/dryer until the carpet is done. Thanks for reading the vent.
Painting and fireplace are now becoming more important projects. I give up on hiring a handyman.
Tomorrow we are going to a museum.
