Kansas City's Lawn Party at the Nelson-Atkins

 This afternoon I went to a lawn party with lots of other people.


They had games


Giant Puppets


Food Trucks


More people.


A butterfly on Stilts, bubbles and hula hoops and bands

Somehow I found the one person I was looking for.  One of my extended family members was in the painting contest.  They had 2 1/2 hours to paint a picture.  It started off cloudy and cool but the sun did come out.  It was hot.


I got us shakes from the Russell Stover Make Happy Truck
It did make me happy.


This is Kristin's painting.
She didn't win the prize but she is a wonderful artist.


I had a wonderful afternoon sitting with Kristin.  She was busy painting and I was busy people watching.  

Tomorrow is the wall!
