Juneteenth at Nelson Atkins

 I went to the 8th Annual Celebration of Juneteenth today.

I went to the Storytelling by the Buffalo Soldiers.
They told the story of Cathy Williams


The Lead - Buffalo Soldier

This was so well done.  They are certified story tellers.  The Buffalo Soldier's great-grandfather was a Bullalo Soldier.  

The celebration goes on until 9 this evening.
