I'm a planner, a list maker, a organizer. I make up the plans for adventures on the weekend for the next week. I watch the weather forecast and sometimes have to shuffle the plans a little. I really do try.
Today rain have been forecasted but usually they are wrong. Imagine my surprise when it was actually raining this morning. So I pivot and make new plans.
1) Yoga - I have decided to try 2 different classes tomorrow. I made this decision late yesterday.
2) My plans were short for today because of yoga class. So I would be shuffling the schedule anyway.
3) It rained.
So I make new plans: I'm going to watch a movie at Union Station on the Extreme Screen. The Fall Guy is showing and this is the last full week.
The Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre is a single-screen theatre featuring a five-story tall and over 75 feet wide screen. Daily showings include educational documentaries, throwback classics, and family-friendly feature films. Copied from their website.
It is the biggest screen in Kansas City according to google. They have a daily 12:30 show for $5. I went. There are several things I don't like doing by myself but going to a movie isn't one of them. I wiggle in my seat and people don't seem to like that. I really liked the theatre. It has stadium seating so everyone (including short people) can see. There were only 7 other people there. Very small audience.
By the way, it hasn't rained since 8:00 this morning.
So tomorrow we are going to try 2 new exercise classes and then a short adventure.
Until tomorrow.
