4 Parks and a Heart

Today I set out to find hearts.  I'm easily distracted.

Heart from last year.

I was hunting for a heart on State Line Road at KU Med.  I found this one.  I was also very disappointed it was from last year.  State Line Road was closed further up so I could not keep hunting the heart today.  I was sad but on to the next one.  Google told me I was there but I couldn't find it.  So I started walking.

Andrew Drips Park
Kansas City's first park

Today it is the smallest park
That's the whole park

I walked over to Flock Bridge

Wichita

This is the backside of the FBI building

I'm a rebel

Mulkey Square

In recognition of the 83rd All-Star Game

This is the park with the bull.

I walked the other way to Jarboe Park

It has an empty swimming pool.

A nice playground

Then finally I see the heart!
13 of 101

It's at the Mattie Rhodes Cultural Center

Next was West Pennway Park

It runs along West Pennway

There is a public library
Irene H. Ruiz Branch

Game boards at the library

Down the block is the Tony Aguirre Community Center

I will go in another day

Next door to the Community Center is a house with yard art.

Pequeno Miramde

That's all for today.  I got to explore a lot of things but only covered a few blocks.  This morning I worked on the storage area again.  I'm keeping my self busy.

Until tomorrow.
