Native American Cultural Celebration at the Nelson-Atkins

This morning I went to the Native American Cultural Celebration at the Nelson-Atkins.  I tried to watch the dancing.  I felt like I was at the parade.   There were so many people.

So I finally went to the side so I got get some pictures of the dancers

She poised for me.

Friday Chris and I looked at the Native American Exhibits.  I was able to avoid the crowds that way.  We were the only ones in the exhibit.

This guy was so cute.

Of course I always seem to go for the textiles.  That's what my love is.  Of course, there are many non-textile displays.

For my former co-workers - I fell down again today.  None of you were here to put on bandages.  There was no balance beam involved.  I hasn't using my arms to balance either.  I was walking Charlie and we saw two dogs that are in an "invisible fence".  They were barking at Charlie who started barking back.  I turned  around to walk (run) away but my feet stopped moving.  I did the slow motion fall again and face planted on the sidewalk.  There actually wasn't any blood.  Just like at QT I jumped up and as quickly as possible made it back to my apartment.  Charlie pooed on the move.  There was no video this time just someone parking that saw the whole thing.  I'm fine.  Scraped my knee (again), banged my forehead and nose and hurt my pride (again).  On the brighter side my elbows are fine.

Until tomorrow.
