The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

Today I went to visit The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.  The Royals Foundation pays for admission during the month of February for Black History Month.

The museum ends with life size statues of a baseball game.

To be honest I don't know much about baseball in general.  It is not my favorite sport.  I couldn't believe what all of these talented people went through.

Since I was in the area I thought I would stay on the baseball or sports theme.

It was fun today.  I walked all around and learned lots.  It was on the chilly side this morning but it felt good after the heat wave yesterday.  I have a different type of adventure planned for tomorrow.

Until our next adventure.
