This is the fourth day of cold temps and snow. I have been in the house all the time. I even went my last 2 boxes. I might be just a little bored.
I don't even have much to show.
The puzzle is missing one piece. I have to start some puzzle crafts. I have one picked out but need some supplies before I start.
This week I did not start a new cross stitch, I pulled this one out of the started pile. I was telling Chris about it. I believe I started this at least 15 years ago. There are 6 pages to the design. I only had finished 3 pages. Now I have finished the fourth. 2 left. I'm going to finish. We'll see how far I can get this week.
No door updates except the one that is up leaks cold air like you would not believe. I hung a comforter over it and put towels at the bottom. So it's livable.
The weather is the big news in Kansas City this week. Snow, break, snow, negative temps, snow, negative temps. What a cycle. I can't wait to get out of the house. The dogs can't wait to go for a real walk. Yesterday was terrible. It was so very cold out and they are little indoor dogs. The two things do not mix. I gave up. This afternoon the sun came out and we were able to get outdoors.
This week I was able to get the nest thermostat connected to my phone. I'm telling you I have been bored.
The good news I have a bag of stuff ready to go to the thrift store. I guess good things do come from being bored. I just need to eliminate stuff. Hopefully I will be back to adventures Monday or Tuesday. I had planned on going a MLK march tomorrow. I won't be doing that because it will be 9 degrees for a high. I'm not sure what I will be able to find open. Most of the museums will be closed. Not to worry the adventures will start again this week.
